Gaughan and NCTS To Battle In "Burn-Out, Bowl-Off" On Thursday at South Point Bowling Center
Brendan Gaughan and his South Point Racing team will take on other NCTS drivers and teams – as well as NASCAR officials – in a head-to-head battle at the South Point Casino’s bowling center on Thursday night. The event will raise money for Speedway Children’s Charities.
The “Burn-Out, Bowl-Off” will start at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday night. Fans are encouraged to come out and support their favorite drivers and teams. Drivers scheduled to appear include Gaughan, defending NCTS champion Todd Bodine, current points leader Ron Hornaday, Johnny Benson, David Green, Scott Lynch, Brett Thompson and more. A $10 donation to the charity will get fans a free ticket to Saturday night’s NCTS race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
“It’s going to be a fun night,” said Gaughan, who has his own bowling balls and shoes ready for the event. “When the team’s come to Vegas, we want to show them that this is our town, and have a little fun. And what can be more fun then a friendly competition before the race. I know that this South Point Racing team wants to win the trophy not only at the race track, but also at the bowling alley.”
