Schrader's Annual Night of Stars at Pevely Scheduled for Aug. 2
Ken Schrader is calling on his friends again to participate in his annual All-Star charity event at I-55 Raceway
in Pevely, Mo.
Drivers from NASCAR’s big three Series are answering his call and jumping on
board for the charity event. NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Matt Kenseth along with
former driver Rusty Wallace, NASCAR Busch Series drivers Kenny Wallace and Stephen Wallace and NASCAR Craftsman
Truck Series drivers Rick Crawford, Brendan Gaughan and David Reutimann have already confirmed that they will
join Schrader at his 3/8-mile Missouri dirt track for the annual ‘M&M’s Night of Stars’ charity event.
This year’s autograph session and celebrity Dirt Modified race is scheduled for Wednesday, August 2 at I-55
Raceway in Pevely, Mo. The All-Star event will benefit a variety of racing charities selected by the drivers,
including the Victory Junction Gang Camp.
“The ‘M&M’s Night of Stars’ has really become an
event that the fans and the drivers both really enjoy and look forward to every year,” Schrader said. “I always
promise the drivers who come to Pevely that we will have a great time – and this year won’t be any different.
“We have some great drivers already lined up to be part of this year’s race. Some of the guys have
been to the track before like Dale Jr. and Herman, but this will be the first trip to Pevely for a lot of them
which makes the night even more fun. Most importantly, these are guys who have a great time with the fans, too.
So it’s going to be a big night for everyone.”
Drivers are scheduled to participate in an
autograph session at the track from 5-7 p.m. CT. The green flag falls on racing at I-55 Raceway at 7:30 p.m.
The celebrity Dirt Modified Shootout will precede the night’s feature event – winged Sprint cars and UMP Late
Models.
Reserved tickets for the ‘Night of Stars’ event are on sale now. Reserved tickets
are $30. Fans can purchase tickets by calling the track at 636-479-3219. General admission tickets, which will
be available the day of the event, are $25.
