Given the high temperatures and humidity during
this daytime event hydration will be the word of the week for the Orleans Racing team. To that end extra water
and sport type beverages have been hauled to the Midwest facility for the team.
Orleans Racing urges all
fans to join them in the hydration battle this weekend at Kansas.
Military Appreciation Program (MAP): This
week the colors of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation will ride with the Orleans Racing Team at Kansas.
About the Special Operations Warrior Foundation:
For more than 25 years, the Special
Operations Warrior Foundation has been dedicated to providing college educations to the children of special
operations forces killed in combat or training missions. The Foundation provides scholarship grants, not
loans, along with family, financial and educational counseling. The grants cover tuition, books, fees,
room and board. The Foundation currently has more than 100 students enrolled in colleges and universities across
the country.
