PGA taking on NASCAR

Several PGA players are taking a turn behind the wheel at Texas Motor Speedway today.

Craftsman Truck Series driver Brendan Gaughan, a four-time winner at Texas, will offer some tips before the golfers get into a stock car. The golfers will return the favor, offering driving tips to the NASCAR driver from a tee box set up on the infield grass.

Seventeen golfers are expected to participate, including defending Bank of America Colonial champion Kenny Perry and Brett Wetterich, winner of Sunday's Byron Nelson Classic. Also scheduled to participate are Chris DiMarco, Bernhard Langer, Scott McCarron, Dudley Hart, Camilo Villegas, Chris Couch, Jason Gore, Justin Rose, Brett Quigley, Shaun Micheel, Mathias Gronberg, Tom Pernice Jr., Ben Crane, James Driscoll and Scott Hend.

The PGA Tour players are in Texas for this week's Bank of America Colonial at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth.
