BRENDAN GAUGHAN, NO. 77 SOUTH POINT SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 27TH, FINISHED 21ST: NOTE: Involved in a multi-truck incident on lap on lap 90 (of 100), retired from the race due to damage:

"We had our Chevy right where we wanted it near the front all night long in postion. We made it through the wreck, but I don't know what happened afterward. I was through already talking to my spotter saying, 'Hey, nice job Batman, we made it through', then pow, somebody just came down and got us from behind.

"We ran up front and did what we wanted to do. This was our first race for Chevrolet in a long time and we're really happy. We are going to win a lot of races this year. Our Chevrolet was strong enough to ride on the outside of the three Roushkateers with no help. I was pretty excited but when you have three Roush trucks teaming up and working together like they are.

"We had a Silverado that ran up front all night. We went to the front, went to the back. I played around a little there in the middle of the race. I went to the top and I tried the bottom too. We had a Chevy that could win this race tonight but the Roushkateers hung me out twice. I would push them to the front and they kept hanging me out and I knew better. Next time I will grab a Chevy teammate and we'll go to the front."
