"I told Shane [Wilson] that I would try to get six-tenths for him and I got four or five. The track didn't
change for us. It was loose to start and it was loose in qualifying. We'll take it. We needed to gain a
bunch of tenths. We were 40th or something and a lot of guys are back there. I don't want to ever take a
provisional. I've only taken one in my life ever and I don't want to take another one."
HOW DID YOU GAIN SO MUCH? "Close your eyes, go fast, turn left, and grab a Red Bull from Robby Gordon."
HOW FRUSTRATING IS IT TO QUALIFY HERE AT NIGHT BUT RACE IN THE DAYLIGHT? "It's not really frustrating. It's
no big deal. You just qualify at night. It's kind of neat. We'll take it. We gained four or five tenths or
something like that and we knew we were going to need a lot of tenths just to make it on time. I think four
or five will put us in the show. It's not going to be great but at least it will be in the top-38 and we'll
be here on Sunday."
HOW FRUSTRATING IS IT TO HAVE YOUR NAME TOSSED AROUND IN THE RUMOR MILL? "It doesn't bother me. The Jasper team
is working hard and the Kodak bunch has really been focused on getting the racecars built, get good racecars,
and get on the racetrack and do well each week. It doesn't really affect us. We're out there trying to have a
good time, trying to show everybody what we're doing and trying to get some good finishes. We had a couple at
the end of this year."
