Gaughan finished 22nd and took top rookie honors for the third time this season. He also took Raybestos Rookie of
the Race honors at Talladega and at California (April). "The guys worked hard all day. When the Kodak Dodge
unloaded here it was a little unbalanced and we just could never get the balance right but it looks like we're
the top Raybestos Rookie and that's only the third time this season we've taken home the honors. We'll take it
and it gives us the most points and just try to get all the positives we can. Being top Raybestos Rookie is one
of the things that we've been talking about all year so we got it again. We'll go to Talladega and see what we
can do."
DID YOU DO SOME EXPERIMENTING TODAY? "No, we kept having enough things to chase after. We were trying
to get the lucky dog for the first three-quarters of the race and on that long green flag we never had a chance
to get the lucky dog and then we had people to battle with. We were trying to keep chasing the racecar and try to
keep gaining as many spots as we could. They guys never gave up. We had great pit stops. The guys did a good job.
They work very hard."
